Utiliser le cd Alternate, choisir F4 installer à la ligne de commande et F6 mode expert.
Suivre les instructions et installer le système de base seulement puis terminer l'installation.
définir au minimum 3 partitions:
- 1 partition /
- 1 partition séparée /home
- 1 partition swap
- sudo apt-get install nano wget
- puis sudo nano etc/apt/sources.list
- commenter la ligne faisant référence au cdrom avec un # et ajouter:
deb http://ch.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ hardy universe
deb http://ch.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ hardy multiverse
sauver puis sudo apt-get update.
Ensuite en console: sudo apt-get install xorg kdebase kde-i18n-fr kdm kdeartwork adept, puis enter.
A la fin de l'installation, taper sudo reboot, le système minimal est alors installé
Vous pouvez maintenant installer les différents paquets souhaités avec adept-manager
Après les redémarrage:
Accepter les driver propriétaires lors de l'invite (selon la CG installée)
modifier le source list:
Ouvrir une console
Taper sudo kwrite /etc/apt/sources.list
Remplaçer le contenu par la partie ci-dessous

puis sauvegarder.
en console toujours, mettre la clé medibuntu:
wget -q http://packages.medibuntu.org/medibuntu-key.gpg -O- | sudo apt-key add -
en console: > sudo apt-get update
puis: > sudo apt-get upgrade
Laisser faire les mises à jour puis redémarrer.
Post-installation:
En console :
Sudo apt-get update
Sudo apt-get install cups-pdf ffmpeg flashplugin-nonfree gimp kdmtheme kpdf language-pack-gnome-fr language-pack-gnome-fr-base mozilla-firefox-locale-fr-fr msttcorefonts myspell-fr-gut sun-java6-jre sun-java6-plugin w32codecs preload kubuntu-restricted-extras gtk-qt-engine kcontrol-autostart kmilo firefox-2 knetworkconf kde-guidance
Les système devrait maintenant être totalement opérationnel
